【特別通告】中國香港攀山及攀登總會就巴基斯坦布羅德峰雪崩事故致哀
中國香港攀山及攀登總會(本會)接獲亞洲登山聯盟 (UAAA)通報,巴基斯坦布羅德峰(Broad Peak)不幸發生嚴重雪崩事故,造成多名優秀攀登者遇難,其中包括國際著名探險隊領袖 Nirmal Purja 先生。本會全體成員對此極具毀滅性的事故深感震驚與沉痛。
Nirmal Purja 先生是全球登山界的傑出代表,曾於 2022 年榮獲 UAAA 頒發的 Sherpa of the Year Award。他憑藉對喜瑪拉雅山脈 14 座高峰的無比熱情與堅毅意志,激勵了尼泊爾及全球無數年輕人勇於追尋夢想。他的離世是國際攀山界及山藝運動的重大損失。
在此,本會謹代表香港攀山及攀登界:
1. 向所有遇難登山者之家屬、親友,以及全球攀登界致以最深切的慰問。
2. 向尼泊爾登山協會 (NMA) 及尼泊爾攀山界表達最誠摯的哀悼。
3. 對巴基斯坦高山俱樂部 (Alpine Club of Pakistan) 在事故善後及搜救工作中所展現的全力協助與合作致以崇高謝意。

【 Announcement 】 Hong Kong, China Mountaineering and Climbing Union’s Statement of Condolence on the Avalanche Incident at Broad Peak, Pakistan
Hong Kong, China Mountaineering and Climbing Union (HKCMCU) has received notification from the Union of Asian Alpine Associations (UAAA) regarding a devastating avalanche on Broad Peak, Pakistan, which resulted in the loss of multiple elite climbers, including the renowned expedition leader Mr. Nirmal Purja. All members of the Union are deeply shocked and saddened by this tragic event.
Mr. Nirmal Purja was a legendary figure in the global climbing community and was honored as the recipient of the UAAA's "Sherpa of the Year Award" in 2022. With his extraordinary passion and perseverance for the 14 Himalayan peaks, he inspired countless young people and mountaineering enthusiasts across Nepal and worldwide to pursue their dreams. His passing represents an immeasurable loss to international mountaineering and mountain sports.
On behalf of the Hong Kong mountaineering and climbing community, the Union expresses:
- Our profound condolences to the families and loved ones of all deceased climbers, as well as to the global climbing community.
- Our deepest sympathy to the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) and Nepal's mountaineering community.
- Our heartfelt gratitude to the Alpine Club of Pakistan for their full cooperation and assistance in the rescue and recovery efforts following the accident.
May the departed rest in peace, and may the mountains forever remember their courage and spirit.
